MANDATORY EMAIL ADDRESS FOR BCA REGISTERED CONTRACTORS
 
The BCA Contractors Registration System (CRS) will be gradually moving towards a full electronic platform. For a start, all future circulars or updates will be disseminated through emails. As such, all BCA registered contractors (including new applicants) are required to have a valid email address.

 
 
Recognition of Additional University Qualifications for A1 to B2 Grades
 
We are pleased to announce the recognition of additional universities for registration for B2 to A1 grades in the CRS. This is in addition to those recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) and Board Of Architects (BOA). The list corresponds with the acceptable qualifications for Resident Engineer in Singapore. Please click the links below to obtain the respective list.

    TENDERING LIMIT VARIABLE COMPONENT (TLVC)
     
    The Tender Price Index (TPI) is published by BCA every quarterly with data taken from actual tender prices. It reflects the recent trend in construction cost due to changes in prices of materials, manpower, plants & machinery, and overheads and profits. Over the years the TPI has moved up significantly. The Tendering Limit Variable Component (TLVC) is determined using the Tender Price Index (TPI) to reflect the impact of tender price movements on project value. BCA will adjust the tendering limits once a year on the first of July.
